The dream: Wall to wall fava beans. This is to die for. We planted these in early January, and now they are over six feet tall and full of flowers. Pretty soon they will be sticking out their fat green pods. The great thing is that you can eat the tips of the plants too. OK, so we overplanted a little. You can never have too many favas.
